Optimise Your PC
If your computer has started to slow down, it can not only be frustrating but add hours to your working week. Most of our customers will get their computers maintained every 12 months to ensure it is running at its optimal level, but there are a few things you can do yourself. Take a look near the clock in the lower right hand corner or your screen. If you can see a lot of little icons there, there may be programs unnecessarily using your system resources. In many cases you can right click on them to close them. If you are not sure of what they are, it may be best to get your computer looked over by a professional.
Use Cloud Storage Solutions
If you operate between multiple computers, having a cloud solution can save you lots of time and help keep you organised! For example, if you have a Google account, it can not only keep track of all of your files in Google Drive so they can be accessed from anywhere in the world, but it can also synchronise your internet bookmarks. This can be of huge benefit for students who are studying and want to keep track of the online resources they are using for assignments. In short, having an online cloud account can mean you can be up and running with access to all of your data, no matter where you are, or what computer you are using.
Upgrade Your Internet
We always find it surprising how many of our customers have not upgraded their internet in years. Many people are unaware there may be faster internet solutions (such as ADSL2+, Cable or NBN) in their area, which can mean much faster download speeds and access times. If its been a while since you have looked into your current plan, perhaps give your service provider a call and see if there are any better solutions available for you.

Adding an additional monitor to your computer setup can give you a huge productivity boost. Having two full size Windows side by side can make everything from gaming to studying more enjoyable. Imagine having your Internet browser open with all of your research on one monitor, and the presentation you are busy working on full screen on another.
